Since 2011, Rexel has been a member of the United Nations Global Compact, thus declaring its commitment to respect and endorse the 10 universally recognized principles of human rights, labor standards, the environment and anti-corruption. This is a major commitment to the respect of human rights and labor standards, the protection of the environment and the fight against corruption. Rexel strives to bring these principles to life through concrete initiatives and to promote them among its partners.

In 2015, the Member States of the United Nations adopted the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), calling on all economic players to contribute to collectively solving the challenges of sustainable development.
Rexel’s sustainable development strategy contributes to the achievement of these objectives. Based on the materiality analysis conducted with its stakeholders, Rexel has identified the most significant SDG for its activities.
