Satisfaxion13: a good response rate to the Rexel employee survey


The Rexel Group values the opinions of its employees and conducts regular employee opinion surveys, with the most recent survey conducted in March 2013 with 29,000 employees across 30 countries.
The survey was aimed at measuring employee understanding and commitment to Rexel’s strategy, the company plan, as well as its values. In addition to core topics related to well-being in the workplace, ethics or employee engagement, questions covered new themes such as the “Energy in Motion” values, team work, customer focus and the integration of acquisition. The survey was conducted predominantly online (92%) with only 8% of employees responding using a paper form.
The highest rates of participation were recorded in South East Asia, China and in six Rexel European entities (Portugal, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Austria, Italy, Rexel Développement) where response rates of 80% to 96% were recorded.  Most notable, was the participation rate of Indian employees who participated for the first time with a response rate of almost 91%.
“Satisfaxion13” results will be used as the basis for identifying future action plans, both on a Group level and with Rexel’s subsidiaries.
