Rexel has just published its 2011-2012 Sustainable Development Report. The Group reaffirms its commitment to follow and promote the United Nations Global Compact principles, of which it is a signatory, and provides an overview of its advances and key achievements. In line with the Energy in Motion company plan, Rexel’s sustainable development and corporate social responsibility strategy is built on 4 major pillars:

1) Developing the energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions offer
2) Reducing the environmental footprint of its operations and improving its environmental performance,
3) Promoting employee welfare by implementing socially responsible initiatives and policies,
4) Supporting local communities through philanthropic projects in countries where the Group is present
