Rexel acquires the assets of Société Commerciale Toutelectric in Southwest France
Rexel, a global leader in the distribution of electrical supplies, announces it has acquired the assets of Société Commerciale Toutelectric, which operates in Southwest France.
This acquisition allows Rexel to extend its geographical footprint in France and is consistent with Rexel’s strategic aim of strengthening its position in key mature markets. It also enables the Group to strengthen its close relationship with its historical customer base of small and mid-sized installers, mainly dedicated to the residential and commercial end-markets.
This operation should generate c. €85m of sales on an annualized basis.
The deal has been approved by the Autorité de la Concurrence (the French anti-trust authority).
