Etienne Bertin joins Rexel as Chief Information Officer
Rexel has announced the appointment of Etienne Bertin as Chief Information Officer for the Group. Bertin, who joins on the 28th August 2012, will report directly to Peter Hakanson, Group Operations Director.
Bertin will be responsible for the Group’s IT infrastructure, strategy and direction. He will work closely with the IT teams in situ across Rexel’s offices around the world to develop a clear and cohesive global IT roadmap in order to ensure strong customer and end-user satisfaction, improve cost-efficiency and support the development of new business models.
Having previously held senior positions in the IT departments of large groups, Bertin brings extensive experience of managing IT teams and driving through large scale IT systems projects.
