Benoît Dutour appointed Vice President Legal affairs of Rexel Group
Rexel announces that Benoît Dutour has been appointed Vice President, Legal Affairs of Rexel Group, effective April 1, 2010. Benoît will draw on his strong experience of legal affairs in both industrial and Information Technology companies. He will report to Michel Favre, Group Chief Financial Officer.
Biography
Benoît Dutour was previously General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Nestlé France, a position he held since 2006. He started his career in 1990 with Michelin in various legal affairs positions in France, Canada and the USA, before joining PeopleSoft in 2001 as General Counsel EMEA, and then Accenture Europe – Outsourcing Division in 2005 as General Counsel.
Aged 42, Benoît Dutour holds a Master Degree in Business Law from University of Panthéon Assas – Paris, and a PhD in “comparative law” from the University of Panthéon Sorbonne. Benoît Dutour teaches International Business Law, is a board member of the AFJE (a French trade association representing in-house counsels) and a member of the Cercle Montesquieu, an association devoted to debating issues of interest to general counsels and exchanging best practices.
