The Rugby World Cup kicks off, with Rexel taking part in the renovation of Eden Park Stadium in Auckland

Working through its subsidiary Ideal Electrical, Rexel will take part in the major sporting event as partner to renovation on Auckland Stadium Eden Park, where some of the competition matches will take place.
The teams at Ideal contributed their expertise in the field of sporting infrastructures and provided the building with cables, lighting and all of the electrical equipment needed for the renovation process.
The stadium, built in the 1900 in the country’s chief city can now hold 60,000 spectators.
In 2009 it was Wimbledon, in 2010 Vancouver and in 2012 the London Olympic Games: Rexel Group is more involved than ever in the major sporting infrastructure works projects across the world.
