Implementation of a benefit plan for employees in 11 countries of Rexel Group
As of July 1st 2010, Rexel Group has implemented a benefit plan which responds to a simple, but essential objective: to protect employees in the event of death or serious permanent disability which occurs while they are working.
Thanks to this plan, which has been entirely fully funded by the employer, employees or their relatives, can benefit from a lump sum amounting to between one and two years of annual base salary, depending on the nature of the claim (occupational sickness or work accident).
Prior to the creation of Rexel Plus, 11 countries in the Rexel Group did not enjoy this level of protection. This new protection will cover nearly 5,000 people. The implementation of Rexel Plus is a clear indication of Rexel’s commitment to employer social responsibility.
