Rexel joins in co-construction at the Convergences World Forum in Paris on September 8, 9 and 10, 2014.
A global player committed to a better energy future, in its economic, social and environmental dimensions, Rexel is a contributor to the 2014 Convergences World Forum, the leading annual meeting place to discuss issues relating to development and poverty alleviation in Northern and Southern countries.
Launched in 2008, the Convergences World Forum brings together over 5,000 international participants – public and private stakeholders, supporters and citizens – and offers three days of debates, conferences and workshops. The 2014 edition is entitled “Goal 2030: building tomorrow’s world together,” in response to the new “Sustainable Development Goals” laid out by the United Nations for the period 2015-2030.
For the first time at this Forum, Rexel and three other major companies have decided to join with Convergences to create shared reflection sessions, which will provide opportunities to interact and exchange ideas about how the corporate world can contribute to developing new value creation models.
With this in mind, the Rexel Foundation for a better energy future will present the joint skills platform for social entrepreneurs that it created and supports during a conference entitled “Challenges for co-construction: Partnerships success stories.”
