Rexel Group Ethics Alert
Rexel has set up this ethics alert line in all the Group’s languages.
It enables any employee, as well as third parties with whom Rexel has a relationship, to report any situation or behavior (past or present) which appears not to comply with the law, the anti-corruption code of conduct, the ethics guide or the Rexel Group’s internal policies and procedures.
It provides an easy, confidential and, where appropriate, anonymous means of expressing concerns or raising questions.
All reports are handled in accordance with the procedure for collecting and handling alerts
How to report an alert
Each employee or third party with whom Rexel comes into contact has several channels for receiving alerts:
- the direct or indirect line manager
- the Human Resources Department
- the Group Compliance Manager via the following e-mail address: compliance@rexel.com
- this alert form
Who can submit an alert?
- Rexel employees (permanent, fixed-term contracts, apprentices, trainees)
- External or occasional employees (temporary workers, consultants, etc.)
- Former employees and prospective employees
- Shareholders, associates and holders of voting rights at the Annual General Meeting
- Members of the company’s administrative, management or supervisory bodies
- Any third party with whom Rexel has a relationship (e.g. customers, suppliers, service providers, etc.).
You must also :
- Not derive any direct financial benefit from the report
- Be acting in good faith
- Have reasonable cause to believe that the facts reported are true.
- If the facts reported were obtained outside a professional context, the person must have personal knowledge of them

What can you report?
Rexel’s internal alert system allows you to report the following:
- A crime or misdemeanor
- A threat or harm to the general interest
- A violation or attempted concealment of a violation of national, European or international laws and regulations
- A breach or situation contrary to Rexel’s anti-corruption code of conduct, ethics guide, procedures or policies
- Risks of serious harm to human rights, fundamental freedoms, personal health and safety, or the environment arising from the Group’s activities.
By way of example, behaviors or breaches to report may include:
- Corruption or influence peddling, including any violation of the anti-corruption code of conduct
- Harassment
- Discrimination
- Health, hygiene or safety
- Human rights violations
- Conflicts of interest
- Anti-competitive practices
- Environment
- Tax fraud
- Financial or accounting fraud
- Insider trading
- Fictitious employment
- Personal data / computer security
Respecting the confidentiality and protection of your personal data

The procedures implemented to collect and process whistleblower reports guarantee the strict confidentiality of the identity of the authors of the report, the persons targeted by the report and the information collected by all the recipients of the report.
Protection of whistle-blowers
Rexel does not tolerate any form of reprisal, threat or attempt to use such measures against whistle-blowers, such as harassment.
