E-commerce: Rexel is developing mobile internet applications

In jobs on the move, our customers need to access more and more services and information from their worksites and when travelling. To meet these new needs, Rexel has become involved in developing specific solutions for mobile terminals. Once connected to the Group’s commercial sites, customers can verify the availability of a product which can be ordered using a smartphone or a digital tablet.

So, in April 2011, Rexel Belgium is launching a new sales application on iPhone.
Using this interface, from now on Belgian customers armed with an iPhone can place an order, consult prices and availability for products, run a quick search by scanning a bar code or even locate a branch, wherever and whenever they like.
