Rexel, a world-leading distributor of electrical products, services and solutions, is proud to be partnering for the first time with the Women’s Forum for the Economy & Society, the leading international platform for transforming the power of women’s voices into forward-thinking economic and policy initiatives, promoting gender equality for the benefit of all. This event, which will bring together thousands of leaders, public figures, academics, and representatives of civil society, will take place on November 6-7 at Place Vendôme in Paris, under the theme “Courage: Bold Moves for a Better World”.

Promoting the economic and social role of women around the world is fully aligned with Rexel’s commitments. The Group sees in this major international event an opportunity to take action further and to work concretely with strategic partners on advancing gender equality and inclusion.

Active support for the WomenEntrepreneurs4Good program

As part of its partnership, Rexel is participating in the Women Entrepreneurs 4 Good (WE4G) program initiated by the Women’s Forum and HEC Paris business school. This unique six-month development program supports female entrepreneurs at the earliest stages of their journey by providing coaching, visibility, technical support, exposure and access to a network of global stakeholders and partners. This year, In October, for example, Rexel organized a masterclass in sustainability to help coach a selected group of female entrepreneurs.

Participation in the Women’s Forum Global Meeting 2025

More than 110 projects advanced through the WE4G Startup Sprint this year, with the top 10 finalists set to pitch their projects at the Women’s Forum Global Meeting in Paris. Rexel will serve on the selection panel with the participation of Chief Strategy Officer Nour Mejri, and send a delegation of women executives to participate in exclusive meetings and networking events, share experiences and learn from other women.

Notably, Isabelle Hoepfner-Léger, Rexel’s General Group Secretary, will participate in a panel discussion on “Brave New Business Models” on November 7 at 10.25 am. This panel will explore how courageous leaders are creating new forms of value, balancing economic ambition with responsibility, and helping to shape a more inclusive and sustainable future with new narratives on the role of business in society.
