Rexel partners with INDIGO and introduces a new services for picking up orders in parking lots

After a first pilot initiated in October 2020 with the Place Victor Hugo parking lot in Paris, Rexel announces the launch of a new service for picking up orders from 8 INDIGO parking garages in the Ile-de-France region in France.

To better customer satisfaction, Rexel multiplies innovations to offer more flexibility for orders availability. The key objective is to save customers time and allow them to fully focus on their projects. As part of this approach, Rexel France is launching its new order pick-up service in parking lots. Customers order their materials via the webshop, the app or by phone and choose the delivery point. Their order is then delivered the next day at 6 a.m., and they can pick it up 24/7 in a secured “Rexel Box” in the parking area.

“This new innovative system completes our services offering and intensifies our coverage in the Ile-de-France region. It saves our customers time and ensures them that their products are available as close as possible to their site and in the shortest possible time.”
Julien Neuschwander, Rexel France Director Innovation and Services

This approach is in line with the Rexel Group’s commitments to reduce the GHG emissions of its operations and the ones linked to the use of the products sold.

“The collection racks are supplied by delivery men on bicycles, cargo bikes or CNG-powered vans, depending on the volume ordered. This project responds to current environmental issues by reducing our carbon footprint and those of our customers.
Benoît Ribault, Rexel France Head of Projects
