Rexel launches Solar Energeasy in Belgium, an innovative marketing approach to photovoltaic services

The Rexel Group is launching the worldwide Solar Energeasy program, an innovative consumer-focused photovoltaic solution making its debut in Belgium.

Through the Solar Energeasy website http://www.solar-energeasy.com, any individual or company wanting to invest in a solar installation will have access to a comprehensive range of practical and innovative services.

Using Solar Energeasy, customers can simulate the generation potential of their future installation online, translate it into revenue, calculate their CO2 emissions savings and find out their equivalent in the number of trees planted. They can also use the website to find a trustworthy installer close to home and request a quote online more easily than ever before. What’s more, Rexel is demonstrating its commitment to driving the adoption of solar energy by offering a production warranty, and financing solutions through a trusted financial intermediary. Additional services, such as the maintenance of solar panels, are also available through a third party specialist.

Rexel is convinced of the opportunities offered by renewable energies, particularly solar power, and is putting all of its expertise at the disposal of its installer clients. From identifying new business opportunities, to technical support and customer relationship tools, Solar Energeasy installers benefit from an “all-in-one” solution, helping them to sell more photovoltaic installations in a simpler way.

The program, launched in Belgium in May 2014, will be rolled-out to other countries in the near future.

“Belgium was a natural choice to start the program; a country that holds a world record in photovoltaic installations with almost one in thirteen homes equipped with solar panels. Through the Solar Energeasy service offer and with the help of solid and trustworthy partners, Rexel is bringing a new dynamic to the photovoltaic market, strengthening its position as a leader in energy solutions, and proving its commitment to working alongside its installers to create value.”
