What has been your career path?

I started my career at Newey & Eyre 20 years ago, straight after finishing my studies in Accounts and Finance. I started at our Manchester branch as a trainee then I held several positions in Sales before being Manager at Runcorn and lastly Leeds for the past 12 years. Leeds became the highest revenue branch in 2008 which I am particularly proud of.

What are your current missions?

I am responsible for the sales and profitability of the business in Leeds and oversee my colleagues at North and West Yorkshire branches. In other terms, I supervise all the activities within the area to ensure it achieves it business plans. This is done by building and delivering a strategy for the business, managing and motivating a team of 22 persons, ensuring first class relationships with electrical supplies manufacturers and customers alike.

What inspires you in your work?

I find very gratifying to see results, whether it concerns people, business development or financial issues. Happy and motivated teams always deliver. To be a Manager of a branch requires enthusiasm, flexibility and a strong customer focus. Not to forget a real strategic vision and the will to promote talents in others.
